10 Tips for Success in JPSC PT Exam

I have often seen candidate who were able to qualify the preliminary examinations of UPSC but didn’t succeed in JPSC or BPSC examination.  Normal perception clearly marks in that JPSC offers lower job profile and the job of IAS and allied services is much higher so if some one qualifies the PT examination of UPSC he or she must also qualify the Jharkhand State Public Service Examination.

JPSC buildingNo, that is not the case and if you are among those candidates who got success in UPSC CSAT examination, please don’t get smug about your achievement. You have to really work hard if you want success and you know that hard work should be guided by proper direction. So if you are applicant of the present JPSC exam then please go through the following tips:

1. Learn about the History of Jharkhand specially ancient history and contribution of Jharkhand in freedom and tribal movement.

2. Geography of Jharkhand is quite complex and it would be in your benefit if you specially elaborate on your studies about locations of mines and mineral production.

3. Industrialization and related topics about the state.

4. Rivers of Jharkhand and related Hydroelectric projects.

5. Hindu Holy places in Jharkhand.

6. Tribes of Jharkhand.

7. Bordering districts of neigbour states like Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh.

8. History of Bihar, specially Indian National Movement, Buddhism, Jainism, Maurya, Gupta, Sher Shah and 1857.

9. If possible then please work on mathematics upto 10+2 level as the questions asked are very simple and those students who come from non mathematics background are not able to understand the questions.

10. The history of JPSC is really dark and despite of best of efforts many brilliant candidates are rejected- don’t blame yourself if you don’t qualify.

Campaign of Honesty- Hemant Soren

It has become common trend in the state of Jharkhand, people doubt the intentions of JPSC. Candidates who apply for this exam they always have doubt in mind about the way exam would be conducted. People doubt about the honesty and integrity of staffs and members of JPSC.

This doubt is not unfounded it emanates from the fact that investigations have proved that the members of JPSC were so dishonest that they hired agents to locate candidates who can pay money for getting the job in state civil services and allied jobs. The number of candidates who got job through illegal and unethical channel was so high that it has become common perception in the state of Jharkhand that if you want to get a government job then you will have to bribe at the right place.

Anyway, the times of worry and frustration are over. The present CM Hemant Soren who is son of Shibu Soren has started dedicated campaign against corruption in the state machinery. Officers and lower staffs who were found involved in corruption are getting punished and many of them are likely to loose their job. I am  so much impressed with the achievements of the present CM that I it is beyond my capability to write any further on him.
Hemant SorenWhy I feel Hemant Soren is honest?

Just because, he is not having qualifications like Post Graduate,  Engineering, Law etc. He is having very simple academic back ground and he is not sorry about it.  Many people might say that he is pretending. But my dear even for pretending you need to take effort.

Online Application Becoming Big Problem For Computer Illiterates

Nowadays, almost all the application submission process of various national and state level examinations is done online. Jharkhand Public Service Commission has also joined the bandwagon and this year almost all the application processes have been conducted online.
However, there are significant number of candidates from rural region who are claiming that the online application process is too complicated and it may result in deprivation of many candidates who are not educated and trained about using the internet.
However, as an editor of a website which is dedicated to the aspirants of JPSC,  I would suggest such candidates to stay away from the competition if they are not comfortable with computers. Just imagine even a clerk working in a small business establishment can work on computer, but there are aspirants of top administrative jobs who are not trained in computers. In fact,  it would be better if JPSC and all other examination conducting authorities introduce a qualifying examination in computer and internet . If a candidate fails in the qualifying examination of computers he should be debarred from the recruitment process. India doesn’t need computer illiterate administrators.
